Job Purpose:

To support the HR function in ensuring smooth execution of HR policies, processes, and statutory compliance for the manufacturing/engineering setup. The role involves handling recruitment, employee engagement, statutory compliance, payroll coordination, and HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Staffing

• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment for shop floor, staff, and technical positions.

• Handle job postings, sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews.

• Manage onboarding and induction process.

2. Payroll & Attendance

• Maintain attendance and leave records.

• Coordinate with accounts/HR head for payroll processing.

• Handle employee queries related to salary, PF, ESI, and statutory deductions.

3. Statutory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with labor laws (Factories Act, PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, etc.).

• Maintain statutory registers and records as per government norms.

• Liaise with statutory authorities/auditors when required.

4. Employee Relations & Engagement

• Support grievance handling and maintain employee discipline.

• Assist in conducting employee engagement activities and welfare programs.





• Support training coordination for workers and staff.

5. HR Operations & Administration

• Prepare HR letters (offer, appointment, confirmation, relieving, etc.).

• Maintain employee personal files and HR database.

• Assist in health & safety compliance coordination with plant/production.

• Handle contracts for contract labor, security, canteen, housekeeping, etc.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge of labor laws & statutory compliance in manufacturing sector.

• Solid interpersonal and communication skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office, HRMS/ERP software.

• Ability to handle shop-floor workforce and white-collar employees.

• Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

• MBA / PGDM in HR, MSW-HR, or equivalent.

• 2–5 years of HR experience in manufacturing / engineering industry (preferably MSME).

• Exposure to payroll, compliance, and factory HR processes is a must.
