Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer to develop, enhance, and support applications used in Risk Management and Profit & Loss (P&L;) reporting. The ideal candidate should have solid Python programming skills, experience in REST API development, and a good understanding of financial risk analytics and P&L; calculations.

The role requires strong analytical and debugging skills, the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, and effective collaboration with business and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Python.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and implement object-oriented programming principles.
- Support applications related to Risk Management, P&L; reporting, pricing, and valuation.
- Exposure to Investment banking, global market, pricing, valuation, Value at Risk (VaR), P&L; Attribution, or related risk analytics.
- Investigate, debug, and resolve complex technical issues to ensure application reliability.




- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Work independently, manage assigned tasks, and contribute to continuous application improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 4–11 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
- Strong knowledge of Python programming, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and REST API development.
- Good understanding of financial risk management and P&L; calculations.
- Exposure to Investment banking, global market, pricing, valuation, Value at Risk (VaR), P&L; Attribution, or related risk analytics.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated, quick to learn, and adaptable to new technologies and business requirements.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
