JOB PURPOSE

- Support and carryout Component testing / structural durability testing activities in the Component Test Lab / Road Simulator Laboratory

- Perform Component / Vehicle instrumentation, testing and troubleshooting activities.

- Perform fixture fabrication, Test setup, Test rig modification for validation of components / Vehicle.

- Ensure test readiness through vehicle inspection, sensor installation and basic diagnostics.

- Perform hands-on installation, maintenance, and operation support for test rigs and durability test systems.

- Support operation of hydraulic power units, servo-hydraulic systems, and laboratory equipment / instruments (Load cells, Torque cells, LVDT, accelerometer, Strain gauge etc.)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prepare and inspect vehicles / components for testing.

- Test setup preparation - Load, secure, and position test samples on rigs.

- Instrumentation - Install, verify, and remove instrumentation and sensors.





- Perform and support execution of durability and road simulation tests.

- Monitor test progress and escalate abnormalities.

- Maintain test records, logs, and shift handovers.

- Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.

- Maintain tools, fixtures, safety standards, and 5S practices.

- Report equipment faults and safety concerns immediately.

QUALIFICATIONS

- B.E in Mechanical, Automobile and Mechatronics

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS :

1 to 4 years of hands-on experience in automotive testing laboratories.

- Knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle handling activities.

- Ability to use hydraulic test system, hand tools, measuring instruments and workshop equipment safely.

- Basic understanding of vehicle instrumentation, calibration, accelerometers, strain gauges, sensors, and data acquisition

- Basic computer knowledge for data entry and record maintenance.
