Roles and Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test and deploy Anaplan models for FP&A; and financial planning use cases.
- Develop and maintain Anaplan modules, lists, line items, dashboards, UX pages, actions and workflows.
- Apply Anaplan best practices and the PLANS methodology to ensure robust, scalable and maintainable model designs.
- Build solutions for budgeting, forecasting, financial statements, Profit and Loss (P&L;), variance analysis and driver-based planning.
- Develop financial models to support business planning, performance monitoring and decision-making.
- Optimize model performance, scalability, usability and maintainability.
- Translate business requirements into technical model designs and effective Anaplan solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver appropriate planning models.
- Participate in requirement-gathering workshops, solution design discussions, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deployment activities.
- Provide end-user training, documentation and post-production support.
- Work effectively in Agile project environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Mandatory Skills and Competencies





- Strong hands-on experience in Anaplan development and model building.
- Proficiency in Anaplan model architecture, module design, lists, line items, actions and dashboards/UX pages.
- Positive understanding of the PLANS methodology and Anaplan modeling best practices.
- Knowledge of FP&A; processes, budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling.
- Understanding of financial statements, P&L; reporting, variance analysis and driver-based planning.
- Experience in model testing, deployment, performance optimization and production support.
- Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.

Certification Requirements

Mandatory: Anaplan Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 certifications, at a minimum.

Preferred: Anaplan Solution Architect certification or Master Anaplanner credential.
