Mission of the Role: Manage and drive the programs to deliver mechanical designs for Visteon products, on-cost, on-time, on-quality.

Responsible for the design delivery, meeting Quality, Cost and Schedule target

Mentor team members to grow them in the career path

Collaborate with the stakeholders throughout the execution of the programs

Problem solving and Systemic improvement in the process

Engineering budget compliance

Deliverables Say/Do ratio

Key Year One Deliverables:

Team development roadmap based on competencies assessment

Meet KPI as defined in the above section





Improve the customer satisfaction by improving the communication and meeting/exceeding the expectation

Qualification, Experience and Skills:

Bachelor's /Masters degree in the Mechanical engineering field.

5~10 years of relevant engineering experience preferably in regional or global setting.

Experience in Automotive or Electro-mechanical products domain Electronics product design, Thermal Management, EMC interface design

Experience in Plastic, Sheet metal, Diecast, Sealing components design

Strong experience in ensuring the design quality, verification, Validation methods.

Design tools CATIA V5 (Preferred). Expertise in 3D CAD, 2D drawings preparation

Strong experience in GDT application, Tolerance studies, DFMEA

Exposure to CAE and testing domains.

Experience in Problem solving, Critical thinking, Continuous Improvement

Exposure to Global Culture/Customer is an added advantage.
