Job Title: Purchase Engineer

Job Location: Bhosari / Chakan, Pune

Experience: 0.6 to 5 Years

Qualification: Diploma / BE

Salary: 25,000 to 50,000 per month (Depending on Experience & Skills)

Handle day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities.

Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors and suppliers.

Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.

Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).

Negotiate prices and commercial terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings.

Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, components, consumables, and other required materials.

Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, and Accounts departments.

Follow up with vendors for on-time material delivery.

Maintain purchase records, supplier databases,



and procurement documentation.

Monitor material costs, inventory requirements, and supplier performance.

Ensure materials meet the required quality standards and specifications.

Required Skills

Knowledge of Purchase & Procurement processes.

Vendor Development and Vendor Management.

Price Negotiation and Cost Control.

Purchase Order (PO) Processing.

Supplier Coordination and Material Follow-up.

Valuable communication and negotiation skills.

Basic knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/SAP will be an advantage.
