Job Title: IT Operations Support Specialist

Location: Chennai

Work Type: Hybrid (4 Days work From Office)

Position Description:

- We are looking for an experienced Application Software Engineer to support Commercial Off-The-Shelf (#COTS) applications in an End-of-Line (#EOL) Testing environment.The ideal candidate will have strong technical and problem-solving skills, with experience in application troubleshooting, code analysis, database investigation, and system integration.
- The role requires developing in-depth application knowledge and working closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure application stability, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support and maintain enterprise-level #COTS applications.Investigate complex application issues through code analysis, log analysis, and database troubleshooting.




- Perform database queries and analyze database structures to identify and resolve issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis (#RCA) and implement effective solutions.
- Troubleshoot application integration and interface issues.Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Develop subject matter expertise (#SME) in application functionality and architecture.Support application performance, stability, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills:

- Experience in application support, software development, or system integration.
- Strong SQL and database troubleshooting skills, preferably with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).
- Ability to analyze existing codebases and database structures.
- Experience troubleshooting enterprise applications and resolving complex technical issues.
- Solid analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Experience Qualifications:

- 5+ years of relevant specialist experience preferred.
- At least 1 year of professional experience in software development, system integration, or enterprise #COTS application support, as specified in the job description.
