We Are Hiring Automotive Interior Trim Design Engineer

Location: Bangalore
Experience: 5–10 Years
Tool: CATIA V5
Domain: Automotive Interior Trim Design

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Automotive Interior Trim Design Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in CATIA V5 and automotive plastic component design.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop automotive interior trim components such as instrument panels, door trims, pillar trims, consoles, and interior plastic parts.
- Perform 3D modelling, surface design, assembly design, and 2D drafting using CATIA V5.
- Develop plastic components considering tooling feasibility, draft angles, wall thickness, ribs, bosses, and mounting features.
- Apply GD&T;, tolerance stack-up analysis, and DFMEA principles.
- Ensure designs meet automotive OEM standards, quality requirements, and manufacturing feasibility.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for design reviews and issue resolution.

Required Skills:

- Robust proficiency in **CATIA V5
