Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a crucial link between senior engineers and the shop floor team.
- Assist in daily manufacturing activities, monitor production workflows, and understand component assembly.
- Handle site operations at client locations, including assembly and installation support.
- Conduct Tool Box Talks (TBT) and assist in basic manpower handling and safety protocols.
- Read and interpret 2D/3D engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Apply core understanding of welding techniques, fabrication methods, and material properties.
- Perform Quality Management and Quality Control (QC) inspections on components and products.
- Create and modify basic drafting/design files using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidEdge).
- Identify operational bottlenecks and assist in shop-floor troubleshooting.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Freshers or up to 1 year of experience).
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a genuine hands-on interest in shop floor operations.
- Ability to read and understand technical/engineering drawings easily.
- Basic knowledge of CAD tools, fabrication processes, and quality inspection tools.
- Willingness to manage client site activities, conduct TBTs, and coordinate with manpower.
- Good problem-solving mindset and practical troubleshooting skills.
- Basic understanding of English and clear local communication skills.
