Role & responsibilities

- Handle Tally ERP operations, including data extraction, report generation, and maintenance of accounting records.
- Generate regular MIS reports, financial summaries, ledger statements, outstanding reports, expense reports, and project-wise cost reports as required.
- Extract, compile, and analyze financial and operational data from Tally ERP to support management decision-making.
- Assist the Finance, HR, Administration, and Operations teams in generating required reports and providing relevant data.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of reports as per the defined schedule.
- Support the team in resolving Tally-related issues, report customization, data reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with concerned departments to understand reporting requirements and provide accurate information.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and company data and ensure proper control over access to reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting formats, automate repetitive reports, and streamline data extraction processes.

Preferred candidate profile





- Graduate in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Tally ERP 9 / TallyPrime, particularly in report generation and data extraction.
- Strong knowledge of ledgers, vouchers, cost centres, accounting reports, and financial statements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, lookup formulas, data filtering, and report preparation.
- Experience in preparing MIS reports, outstanding statements, expense analysis, and department-wise or project-wise reports.
- Ability to understand reporting requirements and provide timely support to different departments.
- Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify data discrepancies.
- Knowledge of Tally customisation, report configuration, and basic accounting principles will be an added advantage.
- Positive communication skills, a service-oriented approach, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
