Role Summary

Lead Assembly Engineering activities for aerospace structures, metallic assemblies across global aerospace programs. Responsible for industrialization, process planning, configuration management, FAI execution, tooling validation, quality compliance, and technical support from bid stage to serial production.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead assembly engineering activities for aerospace structures,
- Drive industrialization activities from RFQ stage through FAI and serial production.
- Develop manufacturing processes, work instructions, route cards, BOMs, process documents, and technical specifications.
- Lead APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow, and Technical Reviews for recent aerospace programs.
- Responsible for FAI planning, execution, qualification, and customer approvals.
- Provide technical support for assembly lines, build activities, production issues, and non-conformance resolution.
- Lead tooling concept development, prove-out, validation, and implementation for assembly operations.
- Manage configuration control, engineering changes, EBOM/MBOM alignment, and delta FAI activities.




- Interface directly with customers on drawing clarifications, technical queries, audits, and improvement initiatives.
- Support RFQ, costing, estimation, cycle-time studies, tooling feasibility, and capacity planning.
- Drive RCCA, continuous improvement, kaizen, cycle time reduction, and first pass yield improvement.
- Collaborate with Quality, Program Management, Manufacturing, Planning, Supply Chain, and Procurement teams.
- Support supplier development, qualification, technical assessment, and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, customer specifications, internal QMS, and aerospace regulatory requirements.
