We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Database administration and Oracle RAC. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of database infrastructure, Linux environments, troubleshooting, performance management, backup/recovery, security, and cloud technologies.

The role requires strong problem-solving and communication skills and the ability to support business-critical database environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Oracle Database environments.
- Manage and support Oracle RAC environments.
- Handle database infrastructure activities covering:
- Database configuration and administration
- Database/network connectivity
- Performance monitoring and troubleshooting
- Backup and recovery
- Database security

- Troubleshoot database and infrastructure-related incidents and identify root causes.
- Perform database health checks and support performance optimization activities.
- Work effectively in Linux environments and troubleshoot OS/database-related issues.




- Support database workloads hosted on or integrated with AWS.
- Provide administration/support for Microsoft SQL Server environments as required.
- Collaborate effectively with application, infrastructure, cloud, and other technical teams.
- Participate in production support and resolve critical database issues.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong experience in Oracle Database Administration
- Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC
- Good understanding of Oracle database infrastructure and architecture
- Database configuration and networking/connectivity
- Performance monitoring and troubleshooting

- Database security
- Positive Linux administration/troubleshooting skills

- AWS experience

Work Coverage

- India daytime / US nighttime coverage
- Candidate should be open to possible weekend on-call support.
