Position: Planning Manager

Location: Nungambakkam (Chennai)

Responsibilities:

- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for construction projects, considering factors such as resources, timelines, and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to develop project plans and coordinate construction activities.
- Monitor project progress and performance against established plans and schedules, identifying deviations and taking corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
- Prepare progress reports, forecasts, and analysis for project stakeholders, providing insights into project status, risks, and opportunities.
- Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment for construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, building codes, and industry standards throughout the planning and execution of construction projects.




- Provide support and guidance to project teams on planning and scheduling best practices and methodologies.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 to 12 years experience as a planning engineer or similar role in the High-rise construction industry (more than G+10 floors).
- Solid knowledge of construction planning principles, project management methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (Microsoft Project is mandatory).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
