Role & responsibilities

- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using SolidWorks.
- Create drawings for conveyor components, assemblies, sheet metal parts, and fabrication drawings.
- Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings, manufacturing drawings, and detailed part drawings.
- Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) for design projects.
- Coordinate with the design and manufacturing teams to ensure drawings are accurate, practical, and production-friendly.
- Modify and update drawings based on engineering changes and project requirements.
- Follow company design standards, quality procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Possess basic knowledge of mechanical components, fabrication processes, and engineering drawing standards.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of all design files.
- Work collaboratively with the engineering team and communicate effectively.

Preferred candidate profile

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ITI Draughtsman
- Proficiency in solidworks.
- Good understanding of mechanical drawings and drafting standards.
- Basic knowledge of sheet metal,fabrication,and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with MS office (Excel,Word).
- Positive Communication skills and willingness to learn.
