Role & responsibilities

- Install, configure, administer, and maintain Oracle Database environments (11g, 12c, 19c, and higher versions).
- Manage database performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning.
- Configure and support Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and GoldenGate environments.
- Perform database backup, recovery, cloning, refresh, and disaster recovery activities.
- Monitor database health, performance, and availability using enterprise monitoring tools.
- Implement database security standards, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.
- Plan and execute database upgrades, migrations, and cloud adoption initiatives.
- Administer Oracle databases hosted on AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
- Design and implement High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
- Automate routine database administration tasks using Shell, Python, or PowerShell scripts.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and cloud teams for production support.
- Troubleshoot critical database incidents and perform root cause analysis.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security and governance requirements.
