Key Responsibilities

1. Corporate Research & Deal Identification

- Research and identify corporates, SMEs, mid-market businesses, and other enterprises with potential debt funding requirements.
- Conduct company and sector research to identify businesses requiring working capital, term loans, project finance, structured debt, refinancing, or other domestic debt solutions.
- Track publicly available information, including company announcements, expansion plans, capital expenditure, acquisitions, financial performance, and borrowing requirements, to identify potential funding opportunities.
- Build and maintain a structured database of prospective corporate borrowers across relevant industries.
- Identify and map key decision-makers, including promoters, CFOs, finance heads, treasury heads, and other relevant stakeholders.

2. Corporate Outreach & Engagement

- Reach out to identified companies and relevant decision-makers through telephone calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other professional channels.
- Introduce Firm's debt advisory and syndication capabilities and establish initial contact with prospective borrowers.
- Understand preliminary funding requirements, including the nature of the facility, indicative funding amount, purpose, and expected timeline.
- Qualify potential opportunities based on the company's funding needs and suitability for Firm's debt advisory services.
- Maintain skilled follow-ups with prospective corporates to facilitate further discussions.

3. Meeting Coordination & Partner Support

- Schedule meetings between prospective corporate borrowers and Firm's Partners.
- Coordinate calendars, meeting invitations, and preliminary information required before discussions.
- Share relevant company research, stakeholder profiles, and preliminary funding information with the Partners ahead of meetings.
- Maintain a pipeline of scheduled meetings, follow-ups, and prospective debt syndication opportunities.
- Coordinate with the Partners to track meeting outcomes and agreed next steps.

4.



Research, Pipeline Management & Reporting

- Maintain an updated database and CRM/pipeline tracker of companies researched, contacts approached, responses received, and meetings scheduled.
- Prepare periodic reports on outreach activity, qualified opportunities, meeting conversions, and pipeline status.
- Monitor relevant corporate and industry developments to identify emerging debt funding requirements.
- Ensure accurate documentation of prospect interactions and follow-up schedules.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

- Graduate or postgraduate qualification in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in corporate research, lead generation, B2B outreach, financial services, debt syndication, corporate banking, or investment advisory will be preferred.
- Strong research skills and the ability to identify and map relevant companies and decision-makers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in reaching out to senior corporate professionals.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, company databases, financial information sources, and CRM or Excel-based trackers.
- Strong organisational skills, persistence, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple prospects and follow-ups.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Number of relevant corporates researched and identified.
- Number of corporate decision-makers contacted and engaged.
- Number of qualified debt funding opportunities identified.
- Number of meetings successfully scheduled with the Partners.
- Quality of research, accuracy of prospect data, and consistency of follow-ups.

Role Scope

This position will focus on research-led deal sourcing, corporate outreach, preliminary identification of debt requirements, and meeting generation for the Partners. The role is not primarily responsible for credit underwriting, debt structuring, lender negotiations, or transaction execution.

Work Arrangement: Mumbai-based or remote, depending on the candidate's suitability and business requirements.
