Job Title: Python / FastAPI Backend Engineer API Migration

Experience: 8–12 Years

We are looking for an experienced Python Backend Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Python, FastAPI, microservices, and Kubernetes, along with proven team-leading experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Migrate existing REST APIs from Nuclio/Iguazio to Python FastAPI microservices on Kubernetes.
- Ensure API contract parity, backward compatibility, and functional accuracy.
- Lead and mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and track delivery.
- Develop unit/integration tests using PyTest and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and technical stakeholders to ensure successful migration.

Must-Have Skills:

- Strong Python, FastAPI, REST APIs, and microservices experience.
- Experience in API migration, refactoring, and asynchronous programming.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Solid team leadership, task planning, and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have: Nuclio/Iguazio, Kafka, API gateways, OpenAPI/Swagger, and observability tools.
