Must-Haves

- 4-6 years of experience in content writing, social media, or creative roles. Agency experience is mandatory.
- Demonstrable strength in short-form social copy and ad creative copy: captions, hooks, ad headlines, scripts.
- Solid experience with website copy and long-form blog-style writing. You can write in both registers.
- A portfolio that shows range, not just volume. We will ask to see it and we will read it.
- Proven ability to ideate and execute within resource and budget constraints. You figure things out.
- Deep understanding of audience research. You know how to identify who you're writing for and what they care about.
- Active interest in content trends, advertising, and culture across categories, not just your niche.
- Comfort working across multiple brands simultaneously, adapting voice and tone accordingly.
- Familiarity with social analytics and performance metrics, and the discipline to act on them.
- Robust working knowledge of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Notion AI, or equivalent) used for efficiency, not as a creative substitute.
- Excellent written English: tight, clear, and purposeful.
