Key Responsibilities

- Define and execute the company's strategic vision, growth roadmap, and annual business plans.
- Take ownership of overall P&L;, revenue growth, cost management, EBITDA targets, and capital allocation.
- Oversee port and terminal operations, cargo handling, vessel turnaround, berth utilization, and safety standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with government authorities, maritime boards, customs authorities, shipping lines, and cargo customers.
- Lead commercial negotiations to improve cargo volumes, pricing, and business profitability.
- Drive infrastructure development, CapEx planning, berth expansion, mechanization, and digitization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with applicable maritime, environmental, labor, customs, and safety regulations.
- Lead senior management teams across Operations, Finance, Commercial, HR, and Engineering.
- Represent the business before the Board, investors, and lenders.
- Drive sustainability and ESG initiatives.





Desired Candidate Profile

- 15-20+ years of experience in port operations, shipping, or maritime infrastructure.
- At least 5-7 years in senior leadership roles such as CEO, MD, COO, Port Head, Terminal Head, Deputy Chairperson, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in managing port operations at scale, improving cargo throughput, optimizing costs, and executing CapEx projects.
- Robust P&L; management, commercial acumen, and strategic business leadership capabilities.
- Experience with a Major Port Authority or private port operator is strongly preferred.
- Established relationships with shipping lines, freight forwarders, government authorities, and maritime stakeholders.
- Postgraduate qualification in Port & Shipping Management, Maritime Business, or an MBA is preferred.
