Web Development Trainee

You will build and maintain client websites, from landing pages and WordPress builds to the occasional custom front end. Speed and mobile behaviour matter here, and so do the search fundamentals that make a site earn its keep in enquiries.

Responsibilities

- Build pages that are responsive, rapid and faithful to the design
- Maintain client sites: updates, fixes and small features
- Work with the SEO team and put the technical fixes they specify into the site
- Test across browsers and on real phones before anything ships

Requirements

- HTML, CSS and JavaScript you have used on something real
- Some WordPress or a modern framework; we will teach the rest
- You care whether a page loads in two seconds or six
