Job Title: Associate-Nostro Reconciliation
Location: Remote (Only candidates currently based in India are eligible to apply)
Duration: (6 Months)

Job Purpose
- The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial
transactions by performing daily reconciliations of Nostro and Sundry accounts. This role will
identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to
resolve issues promptly. This role is crucial in maintaining the reliability of financial data,
supporting the bank reconciliation operations, and contributing to the overall efficiency and
effectiveness of the reconciliation process.

Key Result Areas

1. Ensure daily reconciliations activities of Nostro and Sundry accounts are completed
accurately and on time.
2. Identify and rectify discrepancies promptly to maintain the integrity of financial data.
3. Adhere to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements during the reconciliation
process.
4. Work closely with team members to ensure smooth and efficient reconciliation operations.
5. Provide support and assistance to colleagues as needed to achieve team goals.
6. Continuously develop knowledge and skills related to reconciliation processes and
Reconciliation Systems.

Attend training sessions and stay updated with industry best practices and regulatory
changes.

Operating Setting, Framework and Boundaries, Working Relationships
- Mashreq Bank operates within a global financial network, with branches and representative
offices across various countries.
- Centralized account reconciliations of all Mashreq Nostro & Sundry accounts.
- Works closely with team members to ensure seamless reconciliation processes and knowledge
sharing

Problem Solving
- Analyzing and identifying the root causes of discrepancies and variances in account reconciliations
- Collaborating with team members and other departments to address complex reconciliation challenges.
- Continuously seeking opportunities to improve reconciliation processes and enhance operational
efficiency

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Graduate with 1 - 3 years of banking experience in General banking functions.
- Good communication, analytical and computer skills.
