Job Summary :

Lead and manage the full-chain financial accounting and analysis of the after-sales purchase-sales inventory module; supervise 2 Accounts Executives in daily bookkeeping and reconciliation; serve as the financial bridge between JMEPL (Mumbai regional distributor) and vivo India for Credit Note reconciliation and fund settlement tracking of returned goods; also responsible for budget management, tax compliance, process optimization, and risk management. As a successor candidate for the Finance Manager role, must demonstrate capability in independent management reporting, cross-departmental process improvement, and data-driven decision support for management.

Job Responsibilities:

2. Inventory Ledger Review & Analysis

3. Serve as the financial bridge between company and venture for after-sales returns. Manage end-to-end financial tracking of handsets/spare parts/accessories returned to company — from warehouse dispatch confirmation, company receipt verification, to item-by-item reconciliation of Credit Notes (CNs) issued by vivo India, amount validation, and fund receipt confirmation. Ensure one-to-one correspondence between returned goods and CN amounts with zero omissions or delays, preventing financial losses caused by the warehouse team's inability to track fund recovery post-dispatch. Prepare periodic outstanding CN tracking reports and present settlement progress and exception items to Indian and Chinese Finance Managers.

4. After-Sales Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly/annual after-sales module financial reports to Indian and Chinese Finance Managers, covering purchase-sales-inventory analysis, expense analysis, profit analysis, and trend forecasting.

5. Budget Management:



Lead after-sales module budget preparation, execution monitoring, variance analysis and early warning; drive budget management implementation in after-sales operations; ensure budget execution rate meets targets.

6. Process Optimization & System Maintenance: Continuously improve after-sales financial accounting processes and internal controls; drive functional improvements and upgrades of financial software (Tally/SAP); responsible for team software training and guidance.

7. Tax Compliance: Manage GST and other tax compliance filing, planning and administration for the after-sales module; liaise with external tax consultants/auditors; handle tax audits and reviews.

8. Team Management: Manage 2 Accounts Executives; responsible for daily task allocation, performance evaluation, skill development, and career guidance; build an productive and collaborative finance team.

9. Cross-Department Collaboration: Establish efficient collaboration mechanisms with Service Center Operations and Warehouse Management (which handles after-sales procurement); drive cross-department issue resolution and efficiency improvement in purchase-sales-inventory processes.

10. Risk Management: Identify, assess and control financial risks in the after-sales module (accounting risk, inventory risk, tax risk, information security risk); establish risk early warning and response mechanisms.

11. Compliance Oversight & Enablement: Supervise and guide other departments (Service Centers, MD team) on financial compliance; enhance relevant departments' compliance level and operational analysis capability in purchase-sales inventory and expense management.
