Job Summary

We are looking for a Python Developer with experience in Python scripting, API development, and security automation. The candidate will develop solutions for firewall rule parsing, automate firewall compliance audits, identify risky firewall configurations, and enhance security reporting workflows.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop Python-based APIs for firewall rule parsing, extraction, and analysis.
- Build and maintain Python scripts to automate firewall audits and compliance checks.
- Develop and enhance web portals for compliance reporting, dashboards, and workflow management.
- Identify anomalous, misconfigured, and risky firewall rules to improve security and compliance.
- Develop new features and enhance integration with Tenable Nessus for security assessment and reporting.
- Perform requirement analysis and implement new development requests as needed.




- Collaborate with security and engineering teams to improve firewall assurance and automation processes.

Mandatory Skills

- Solid hands-on experience in Python development and scripting.
- Experience in API development and integration.
- Knowledge of firewall rule parsing, extraction, and validation.
- Experience in security automation or compliance automation.
- Knowledge of Flask or similar Python web frameworks.

Good to Have

- Experience with Tenable Nessus integration.
- Knowledge of firewall technologies and firewall rule management.
- Experience in compliance reporting and web portal development.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and network security.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 4+ years of relevant Python development experience.
- Candidates with experience in firewall assurance, security engineering, or security automation will be preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
