Role & responsibilities

1. Accountable for status update to NPD tracker & set the priority of work.

2. Regular track the allocated tasks/works as per the planning.

3. Ensure timely delivery of engineering deliverables for NPD.

4. Check manufacturing (DFM) & Assembly (DFA) feasibility of the product. Coordination with the shop floor.

5. Attending kick off meeting of NPD

6. Attending manufacturing feasibility review meeting along with CFT.

7. Prepare technical query list (OIL - Open Issues List ) and take clarification from customer.

8. Technical discussion with customer and supplier (if require)

9. Review of costing BOM and manufacturing BOM.

10. Preparation of DXF ( Drawing Exchange Format ) & Snap BOM for production.

11. Managing Team discipline

12. Maintain data management mechanism.





Preferred candidate profile

1. Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes which apply on sheet metal & machining process.

2. Knowledge of Welding process and relevant Standard

3. Knowledge of Mechanical joining and relevant Standard

4. Knowledge of Surface treatment and relevant Standard

5. Knowledge of CAD software preferable solid edge and Auto CAD (or any CAD software)

B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical) with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience with valuable communication skills.
