Role & responsibilities:

1. Metal & Scrap Procurement

- Source and procure metals such as copper, aluminium, steel, brass and other relevant raw materials, including metal scrap.

2. Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management

- Identify, develop and maintain relationships with suppliers across India and international markets.

3. Import Procurement & Commercial Coordination

- Coordinate international sourcing, import orders, shipment schedules and material delivery.

4. Purchase Operations & Order Management

- Manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders, order tracking and supplier follow-ups.

5. Cost Control, MIS & Compliance

- Identify cost-saving opportunities through competitive sourcing and negotiations.

Preferred candidate profile:

- 3-7 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing or supply chain operations.

- Experience in metal procurement, copper/aluminium/steel sourcing, metal scrap or non-ferrous metals will be highly preferred.

- Exposure to metal trading, recycling, cable manufacturing, metal processing or industrial manufacturing will be an advantage.

- Experience in vendor development, RFQ management, quotation analysis, commercial negotiations and purchase-order management.
