Job Description : VMC in charge

• Supervise day-to-day operations of multi-axis and multi-tasking CNC machines,

including Mazak INTEGREX and similar machines.

• Plan and allocate manpower, machines and jobs to achieve production targets

while maintaining quality and delivery requirements.

• Ensure proper setup, tool management, program loading, prove-out and

production as per approved process plans and CNC programs.

• Monitor machine utilization, productivity, cycle time, tool consumption, rejection

and rework, and take corrective actions.

• Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering, CAM, Quality and Maintenance

teams for resolving machining and production issues.

• Ensure adherence to process parameters, work instructions, inspection

requirements, safety and 5S.

• Train and guide operators on machine operation, setup, tooling, inspection and

safe working practices.

b. Additional Requirements

• Solid hands-on knowledge of CNC multi-axis machining, milling, turning and

mill-turn operations.





• Experience with 3/4/5-axis machines, preferably Mazak INTEGREX / similar

multi-tasking machines.

• Good understanding of CNC programs, tooling, workholding, cutting

parameters and tool offsets.

• Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T; and process documentation.

• Good leadership and manpower-management skills with the ability to handle

a team across shifts.

c. Preferred Exposure

• Experience in Oil & Gas / completion tools / heavy engineering / precision

machining.

• Exposure to Mazatrol, Mastercam-generated programs and CNC prove-out.

• Experience in machining complex components and optimizing cycle time, tool

life and machine utilization.

• Knowledge of RCA, 8D, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing and continuous

improvement.

• Experience in implementing production dashboards, hourly monitoring and

daily performance reviews
