Workday Benefits Functional Consultant

Location – Remote (Anywhere in India)

Exp – 5 to 9Yrs

ECTC – 30% Hike on CTC

NP – Immediate to 1 Month

- Active Workday Benefits Certification is mandatory – please do not submit profiles without valid certification.
- Minimum 5+ years of Workday experience with strong hands-on Advantages functional/configuration experience.
- Candidates should have 3+ Benefits implementations and experience across Health & Welfare, Retirement/403(b), Insurance, etc.
- Open Enrolment, client-facing design sessions, testing, and data conversion experience will be an added advantage.
- Hands-on Benefits implementation/configuration profiles, not candidates with only general HCM or support experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- As a Workday Benefits Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of Workday’s Benefits Solution.
- Certification in Workday Benefits is a must.
- You will provide Workday product, subject-matter, and implementation expertise; and work with partners to understand their business requirements and help configure and test the derived solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of how benefits plan such as health care plans, retirement plans (403b), insurance plans etc. are setup in benefits/payroll functional areas.
- You will work effectively individually and with team members toward customer satisfaction and success.
- Design and implement requirements in the Workday Benefits solution including company benefits program,



which can include health and welfare plans, retirement plans, wellbeing plans, PTO and other leave programs, and other voluntary benefits.
- Demonstrate the configurations through the development of a prototype.
- You will assist in creating solutions for clients and/or internal review.
- Conduct working sessions with clients to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements; ensure client takes advantage of Workday standard methodologies.
- Help convert legacy data into Workday and assist clients in testing the designed solutions.
- Analyze Workday release updates to understand impacts of feature changes, in relation to clients existing configuration.
- Resolve functional issues and understand and implement complex business scenarios.
- Ability to manage multiple projects of differing scale and duration.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Substantial and measurable delivery within the ERP/Workday HCM workstreams of 3 or more Benefits implementations.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Workday workstream.
- Current active Workday Benefits Certification.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with work experience.
- Must be able to setup benefit configuration and lead/support design/ customer sessions. Also, experience of working on open enrollment will be added advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written, and the interpersonal skills needed quickly to establish relationships of trust and collaboration.
