Calsoft Inc. is looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join its team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL, Python, data engineering, cloud data platforms, and data migration. The role involves developing scalable data pipelines, modernizing legacy data platforms, and delivering reliable data solutions for business analytics.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for analytics and reporting.
- Lead end-to-end data platform migration, including legacy system analysis, solution design, execution, validation, and decommissioning.
- Build and optimize data pipelines using SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT tools.
- Work with cloud data platforms such as BigQuery and Snowflake.
- Integrate internal and external data sources through APIs and third-party integrations.
- Support and migrate BI and reporting platforms, including Looker/Mode.
- Identify data quality issues, dependencies, performance bottlenecks,



and optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering, analytics, BI, and business stakeholders.
- Own solutions from design and implementation through production support and documentation.

Required Skills

- Strong SQL and Python programming skills.
- Hands-on Data Engineering and data pipeline development experience.
- Cloud data platforms: BigQuery and Snowflake.
- ETL/ELT tools, preferably Talend.
- Cloud migration and data platform modernization.
- API integration and data warehousing concepts.
- BI/reporting tools such as Looker, Mode, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Exposure to AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Knowledge of Spark or Kafka is desirable.
- Experience with Git, Jira, and technical documentation.

Candidate Profile

- 610 years of relevant experience in Data Engineering or a related technical role.
- Experience building, maintaining, and supporting production data pipelines.
- Solid problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to independently manage technical deliverables from design to production.
