Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled GST Litigator to handle complex GST litigation matters, conduct legal research, draft legal submissions, and provide strategic opinions on indirect tax issues. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent drafting abilities, and sound knowledge of GST laws and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle GST litigation matters before departmental authorities and appellate forums.
- Conduct detailed legal and tax research on GST laws, notifications, circulars, and judicial precedents.
- Draft replies to GST notices, appeals, written submissions, and legal opinions.
- Prepare case briefs, legal documentation, and representation papers.
- Assist in tribunal and appellate proceedings.
- Analyze complex GST issues and provide practical legal solutions.
- Interpret GST provisions and advise clients on litigation strategies.
- Stay updated with changes in GST laws, notifications, circulars, and landmark judgments.
- Coordinate with clients for documentation, case preparation, and hearings.
- Support senior professionals in handling high-value litigation assignments.

Required Skills





- Strong knowledge of GST laws and indirect taxation.
- Excellent legal drafting and research skills.
- Ability to interpret statutes, notifications, and judicial precedents.
- Robust analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to independently handle litigation assignments.
- Proficiency in MS Office and legal research databases.

Qualification

- LLB / CA / CMA or any other Finance or Legal Professional.
- Additional specialization in Indirect Taxation will be an advantage.

Experience

- 2 to 5 years of experience in GST Litigation or Indirect Tax Advisory.
- Experience in a Chartered Accountancy Firm or Law Firm will be preferred.
