Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content for digital platforms, marketing campaigns, academic promotions, and institutional branding. The candidate should have robust storytelling abilities, technical expertise, and attention to detail to deliver engaging visual content.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit and produce high-quality videos for social media, YouTube, website, and promotional campaigns.

Work on academic videos, lecture snippets, student testimonials, event highlights, and advertisements.

Trim, assemble, and enhance raw footage with appropriate transitions, effects, music, and graphics.

Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to understand video requirements and concepts.

Add subtitles, captions, overlays, and motion graphics where required.

Ensure brand consistency in all video outputs.

Manage multiple video projects and meet deadlines efficiently.

Organize and maintain video files and editing assets.

Stay updated with current video editing trends, tools, and social media formats.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Video Editing, Media Production, or related field (preferred).

1–3 years of experience in video editing (education/marketing industry experience preferred).





Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.

Good understanding of video formats, resolution, and platform specifications.

Strong creativity and storytelling skills.

Basic knowledge of audio editing and color correction.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in creating short-form content (Reels, Shorts, Instagram videos).

Knowledge of motion graphics and animation.

Basic graphic design skills (Photoshop/Illustrator).

Understanding of YouTube optimization and digital marketing trends.

Photography or videography skills are an added advantage.
