Role Description The Video Editor role at Escapade Technologies is a full-time, in office position based in Hyderabad.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling raw video footage into polished, engaging content for web, social media, and digital campaigns. Daily tasks include organizing and managing video assets, applying transitions, sound effects, and graphics, and ensuring visual consistency with brand guidelines. The role involves close collaboration with designers, marketers, and developers to create product demos, promotional videos, training content, and social media clips.

Editor will also optimize video formats for different platforms, maintain quality standards, and contribute creative ideas to improve storytelling and viewer engagement.

Qualifications

- Strong video editing skills using industry-standard tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Experience with motion graphics and visual effects using tools such as After Effects or similar software.
- Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, resolution settings, and exporting for web, mobile, and social media.
- Ability to work with scripts, storyboards, and brand guidelines to deliver coherent and visually appealing content.
- Basic audio editing and sound design skills, including music selection, voice-over integration, and audio mixing.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Film, Media, Communication, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in a digital agency, software, or tech environment is an advantage.
- Portfolio or showreel demonstrating video editing, storytelling, and creativity is required.
