Role Overview

As a Freelance Video Colorist, you will be responsible for color correction, color grading, and maintaining visual consistency across video projects while aligning with the client's creative vision and brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform professional color correction and color grading for a variety of video content.
- Create consistent visual tones across shots, scenes, and projects.
- Enhance skin tones, exposure, contrast, saturation, and white balance.
- Match footage from different cameras and lighting conditions.
- Collaborate with video editors and project managers to achieve the desired visual style.
- Incorporate client feedback and deliver revisions within agreed timelines.
- Ensure high-quality exports that meet project specifications.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Video Colorist, preferably in commercial, social media, or branded content.




- Strong understanding of color theory, lighting, exposure, and visual storytelling.
- Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve; experience with other professional color-grading tools is a plus.
- A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating color correction and grading skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects independently.
- Robust attention to detail and communication skills.
