Role Description The Vessel Operator will oversee day-to-day vessel operations, ensuring efficient and compliant port calls from arrival to departure. This full-time on-site role, based in New Delhi, includes coordinating with ports, terminals, shipmasters, and clients for cargo operations, documentation, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include monitoring voyage progress, arranging services such as bunkering and husbandry,



handling operational communication, and resolving any issues that may affect schedules, safety, or costs. The role also involves maintaining accurate operational records, preparing reports, and supporting continuous improvement of processes to optimize turnaround time and service quality.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of vessel operations, port procedures, and maritime regulations.
- Experience coordinating cargo operations, agency services, and husbandry support.
- Ability to manage documentation, compliance requirements, and communication with stakeholders.
- Effective organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Proficiency with MS Office and basic maritime operations software or systems.
- Prior experience in shipping, logistics, or maritime services is preferred.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Shipping, Maritime Studies, Logistics, or a related field is beneficial.
- Willingness to work flexible hours according to vessel schedules and operational demands.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and maintain a professional, customer-focused approach.
