Job Summary

Job Title: Vessel ICT Technician

Location: Worldwide

Mission: Work in coordination the electrical team on ICT and communication side, where valuable IT knowledge is necessary. Plan the electrical maintenance reporting to the Electrical lead / Chief Engineer. Respect of HSE and Quality procedures and practices.

Responsibilities

- Monitor and control on-board electrical/electronic equipment according to safety procedures

- Plan the electrical maintenance reporting to the Electrical lead / Chief Engineer





- Define maintenance work setting priorities and propose maintenance schedule

- Propose to own superior the required quantity of material stock levels in order to maintain work continuity

- Ensure that work activities are carried out in compliance with safety procedures and practices

- Ensure the efficiency and the maintenance of ICT equipment (server, communication antennas, telephone system)

- Apply the modification needed in order to the vessel to be in compliance with the project IT requirements
