Vendor Products Trainer (part-time, freelance)

You teach the vendor platforms that banks and insurers run on, from Excel and Bloomberg on the desk to SAP, Salesforce and Pega in the back office. You cover 20 modules.

Modules you teach

- Microsoft: Excel Formulas; Excel Stages 1 to 4 (foundations, analysis, financial modelling, controls and automation); VBA; Microsoft Power Platform.
- Market data: Bloomberg Terminal.
- Workflow and low-code: Appian; Pega; Mendix.
- CRM, ERP and service management: Salesforce; SAP; SAP Business Process & Support; ServiceNow; Adobe Experience Cloud.
- Integration, data and monitoring: MuleSoft; Oracle; Splunk.
- Core banking: Mainframe (COBOL and JCL).

What you do in this role

- Show learners how each product is used day to day in a bank, on real screens and realistic data.
- Run Excel sessions from first formulas through to a DCF model and spreadsheet controls.
- Explain where each platform sits in a bank's systems, what the jobs around it look like, and which vendor certifications matter.

Essential

- 5+ years using, building on or supporting enterprise vendor platforms in financial services.
- Expert Excel, including financial modelling and VBA.
- Hands-on depth in at least three of: Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow, Pega, Appian, Power Platform, MuleSoft, Oracle, Splunk.

Desirable

- Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) or daily Bloomberg Terminal use on a desk.
- Vendor certifications (for example Salesforce Administrator, Pega CSA, Appian Associate Developer, ServiceNow CSA).
- Mainframe COBOL or JCL experience in core banking.
- Adobe Experience Cloud or Mendix project work.

Role Description The Vendor Products Trainer (part-time) will design and deliver remote training sessions focused on finance-related vendor platforms and tools used within Inspire Careers Finance. In this role, the trainer will create clear training materials, demonstrations, and practical exercises to help learners understand product features, workflows,



and best practices. Day-to-day activities include hosting live online workshops, recording training modules, answering learner questions, and updating content as vendor products evolve.

The trainer will collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to align training with our broader learning pathways and assessment frameworks. This is a part-time, remote role, offering flexibility in scheduling while requiring reliable availability for planned sessions and learner support.

Qualifications

- Robust knowledge of finance-related vendor platforms and tools, with the ability to explain product features and workflows clearly.
- Experience in training, coaching, or teaching in a digital or virtual environment, ideally within financial services or fintech.
- Proficiency in creating structured training materials, including slide decks, video scripts, and step-by-step guides.
- Comfort with using online training technologies (web conferencing tools, learning management systems, and collaboration platforms).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with an inclusive and learner-focused approach.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to plan part-time schedules, manage multiple training cohorts, and keep content up to date.
- Ability to analyze learner feedback and assessment data to refine and improve training programmes.
- Background in finance, financial markets, or related disciplines; professional certifications in finance or training are an advantage.
- Prior experience working remotely and collaborating with distributed teams is preferred.
