We are looking for experienced Business Analysts and Consultants with strong expertise in the Commercial Property & Casualty (P&C;) insurance domain, particularly across the Claims value chain, for a consulting engagement with a leading multinational P&C; insurer.

Key Responsibilities

- Business Analysis & Consulting: Understand business needs, analyse complex processes, identify gaps, and translate requirements into clear and actionable solutions.
- Commercial P&C; Claims Expertise: Apply strong domain knowledge across the Commercial P&C; Claims value chain, including relevant processes, workflows, and business requirements.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with business, technology, and cross-functional teams, including senior client stakeholders.
- Requirements & Agile Delivery: Elicit, document, prioritize,



and manage requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflows using tools such as Azure DevOps and JIRA.
- Critical Thinking & Problem Solving: Break down complex business problems, evaluate alternatives, and recommend pragmatic, value-driven solutions.
- Techno-functional Expertise: Bridge the gap between business requirements, insurance processes, and technology implementation.
- Ownership & Delivery: Take end-to-end ownership of assigned initiatives and drive them through analysis, solutioning, implementation, and stakeholder alignment.
- Innovation & AI: Explore and leverage Generative AI, automation, analytics, and emerging technologies to improve processes, productivity, and business outcomes.
- Thought Leadership: Bring new ideas, perspectives, and industry insights to client engagements and contribute to solution development within Alpha Torana.

Desired Profile

- 5+ years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, Senior Business Analyst, Consultant, or in a similar techno-functional role.
- Strong experience in the Commercial P&C; insurance domain, preferably with significant exposure to Claims.
- Strong business analysis, requirements management, and process-mapping capabilities.
- Excellent communication,



presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both business and technology teams.
- Hands-on experience with Agile delivery environments and tools such as Azure DevOps and/or JIRA.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking capabilities with a structured approach to problem solving.
- Interest in Generative AI, automation, analytics, and emerging technologies and their application within insurance.
- Ability to work with a high degree of ownership and independence in a fast-moving consulting environment.
- Flexible, adaptable, intellectually curious, and comfortable working in a start-up setting.
