Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Turner / Machinist / Fitter with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in machining, turning, fitting, and related workshop activities. The ideal candidate should be capable of operating conventional machinery, reading engineering drawings, measuring components accurately, and ensuring quality standards in production.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate conventional/manual lathe machines for turning and machining operations.
- Perform fitting, drilling, cutting, threading, and finishing operations as required.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and component specifications.
- Measure components using vernier calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality of machined components.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and keep machines and the workplace clean.
- Identify machining defects and take corrective action where required.
- Follow workshop safety procedures and production quality standards.




- Coordinate with supervisors and team members to complete jobs within the required timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- ITI / relevant technical qualification in Turner, Machinist, or Fitter preferred.
- 3–5 years of practical experience in a machining or engineering workshop.
- Hands-on experience operating conventional/manual lathe machines preferred.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings, machining processes, and precision measurement tools.
- Positive understanding of fitting operations and workshop safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates with hands-on workshop experience in turning, machining, or fitting.
- Practical knowledge of conventional machinery and component manufacturing.
- Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period are preferred.
