Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and organised qualified to manage daily transport operations, cab bookings, coordination with drivers and vendors, and administrative activities at the university.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage daily transport operations and cab booking requests.
2. Coordinate with drivers, vendors, staff and internal departments.
3. Handle incoming calls, transport related queries and requests.
4. Maintain transport records, booking details and reports.
5. Use MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, for data entry and record management.
6. Support the smooth functioning of daily transport activities and other tasks assigned by the reporting manager.

Job Title: Transport Maintenance

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering

Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced professional to manage maintenance, servicing, repairs and safety of the university transport fleet, including buses, cars, electric vehicles and electric golf carts or buggies.

Key Responsibilities

1.



Manage preventive and breakdown maintenance of vehicles, including buses, cars, EVs and golf carts.
2. Diagnose mechanical faults and coordinate timely repairs to ensure vehicle safety and availability.
3. Plan regular servicing, inspections and maintenance schedules.
4. Maintain vehicle wise service records, breakdown reports, spare parts data and repair expenses.
5. Manage vehicle registration, fitness certificates, insurance, permits, PUC certificates and other applicable statutory documentation.
6. Coordinate with drivers, workshops, authorised service centres, OEMs and vendors for repairs and replacements.
7. Monitor maintenance costs, review repair quotations and track spare parts requirements.
8. Maintain maintenance and compliance trackers using MS Excel.
9. Coordinate with the electrical maintenance team for the upkeep of electric vehicles and golf carts.
10. Handle official correspondence and ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues.

Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates from outside Sonipat will be preferred. Local Sonipat candidates will not be considered.
