Transport Manager – Group of Institutions

Qualification: Any Degree / Diploma; Transport or Logistics Management qualification preferred

Experience: Minimum 8–10 years in Transport/Fleet Management, preferably in Educational Institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the entire transport operations and fleet across all institutions/campuses.
- Plan and optimize bus routes, timings, stops and vehicle utilization.
- Ensure timely FC, Insurance, Permit, Tax, Pollution Certificate and other RTO/statutory compliance.
- Supervise drivers, conductors, transport coordinators and support staff.
- Monitor GPS, vehicle movement, fuel consumption, mileage and maintenance costs.
- Plan preventive maintenance and ensure minimum vehicle breakdown/downtime.
- Ensure strict student/staff transport safety and discipline.




- Handle accidents, emergencies, breakdowns and insurance claims effectively.
- Maintain vehicle-wise records, logbooks and monthly Transport MIS.
- Monitor transport vendors and outsourced vehicles, wherever applicable.
- Prepare and control the annual transport budget and operating expenses.
- Coordinate with Management, Administration, Institutions, Parents and RTO authorities.

Preferred: Candidates with solid fleet management, statutory compliance, cost-control and team-handling experience in a educational group. Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
