Role Description The Trainee Embryologist will support the embryology and assisted reproduction laboratory, working under the guidance of senior embryologists and clinicians. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and maintaining laboratory equipment, assisting in gamete handling, supporting in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures, documenting laboratory activities, and maintaining strict quality and safety standards. The role involves close collaboration with the fertility team to ensure accurate sample handling, adherence to protocols,



and confidentiality of patient information.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Lucknow, requiring the trainee to be present in the hospital’s laboratory for hands-on training and supervised procedures.

Qualifications

- Strong laboratory skills, including sample handling, aseptic techniques, and basic microscopy.
- Foundational knowledge of in vitro fertilization (IVF) and assisted reproduction procedures.
- Background in medicine, life sciences, or related fields such as biotechnology, reproductive biology, or clinical embryology.
- Understanding of andrology concepts, including semen analysis and male reproductive physiology.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Medicine, or a related discipline.
- Attention to detail, ability to follow standardized protocols, and adherence to ethical and regulatory guidelines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours based on laboratory and procedure schedules and to learn current techniques under supervision.
