(Trading Intern, Equity Markets)

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Trading Intern to join our markets team. You will work alongside experienced traders and analysts, learning how financial markets operate while contributing to research, market monitoring, and trade support. This is a hands-on opportunity to build practical skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor stock market movements, news, and economic events in real time
- Assist in technical and fundamental analysis of equities, indices, and sectors
- Prepare daily market reports, watchlists, and trade summaries
- Track portfolio performance and maintain trading journals and records
- Support the team in identifying trade ideas and backtesting strategies
- Learn and follow risk management and compliance practices
- Assist with data collection and visualization using Excel or similar tools

Required Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
- Basic understanding of stock markets, order types, and trading terminology




- Familiarity with technical indicators (RSI, MACD, moving averages, support/resistance)
- Proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Ability to stay focused and calm under pressure

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with paper trading or a personal trading account
- Knowledge of Python, SQL, or other data tools
- Familiarity with trading platforms (Zerodha, TradingView, Bloomberg, etc.)
- Completion of relevant courses (e.g., NISM certifications, CFA Level 1 progress)
