Traffic Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Traffic Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience, including significant exposure to UAE traffic engineering and transportation projects. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Traffic Impact Studies (TIS/TIA), authority submissions, and coordination with UAE regulatory bodies such as ITC/DMT and RTA.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review Traffic Impact Studies (TIS/TIA), parking assessments, and transportation reports.

- Conduct traffic analysis and modelling using tools such as SIDRA, SYNCHRO, Auto TURN, VISSIM, and VISUM.
- Coordinate with local authorities for project approvals and technical submissions.
- Support roadways, junction, access, and traffic management scheme evaluations.
- Analyze traffic survey data and develop traffic planning recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with UAE authority standards and transportation guidelines.

Requirements





- Bachelor’s degree in civil or Transportation Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of traffic engineering experience, with at least 3 years in the UAE.
- Robust knowledge of ITC/DMT, RTA, and UAE authority approval processes.
- Proven experience in Traffic Impact Studies and local authority coordination.
- Proficiency in traffic modelling and analysis software.
- Excellent report-writing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Direct involvement in authority approvals for infrastructure, development, and master planning projects.
- Familiarity with UAE transportation regulations, standards, and road safety requirements.
- Preference will be given to candidates with direct UAE traffic engineering consultancy experience and demonstrated success in managing authority approvals, traffic studies, and stakeholder coordination.
