Claidroid Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is hiring experienced Test Automation Specialists for a strategic Quality Engineering engagement with a leading global BFSI client.

We are looking for professionals with strong hands-on expertise in Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript, API Testing, End-to-End Automation and CI/CD, combined with practical experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or equivalent coding assistants.

The role focuses on developing scalable test automation frameworks, accelerating testing through AI-assisted engineering and improving the reliability and quality of enterprise applications.

Role Overview

As a Test Automation Specialist, you will design, develop and maintain robust automation frameworks for enterprise web applications and digital platforms.

Working closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners and QA teams, you will define testing approaches, build automated test suites and integrate test execution into CI/CD pipelines.

A key aspect of the role is leveraging Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants to accelerate test development, generate test scenarios, improve code quality and optimize automation frameworks.

You will also contribute to automation strategy, defect investigation, framework improvements and adoption of up-to-date Quality Engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation & Framework Development

- Design, develop and maintain scalable, reusable test automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Develop automated test scripts using JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Implement functional, regression, integration, smoke and end-to-end automated testing.
- Develop UI, API and cross-browser automation suites.
- Implement data-driven and keyword-driven testing approaches.
- Build reusable automation utilities, libraries and test components.
- Improve framework performance, stability, maintainability and execution efficiency.
- Analyse test results, investigate failures and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects.

AI-Assisted Automation Development

- Leverage Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or equivalent AI-powered coding assistants.
- Use AI tools for test script generation, test case development and test data creation.
- Accelerate automation framework development through AI-assisted coding.
- Review, validate, refactor and optimize AI-generated code.
- Ensure AI-generated test automation follows coding standards,



security requirements and quality guidelines.
- Identify opportunities to improve testing productivity and automation coverage through AI-assisted engineering.
- Share knowledge and mentor team members on effective AI-assisted testing practices.

CI/CD & Continuous Testing

- Integrate automated testing suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Enable continuous testing within Agile and DevOps delivery environments.
- Support automated test execution during application builds and deployments.
- Maintain test execution reports, dashboards and quality metrics.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve testing efficiency and release reliability.
- Contribute to automation strategy and Quality Engineering improvement initiatives.

Quality Engineering & Collaboration

- Work with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners and QA teams to understand requirements and define automation strategies.
- Translate functional requirements into effective test scenarios and automation scripts.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Investigate defects, analyse root causes and support issue resolution.
- Maintain technical documentation, test automation standards and reusable libraries.
- Apply Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.
- Support continuous improvement of test coverage, automation quality and engineering processes.

Must-Have Skills

Playwright & Automation Testing

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright using JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience designing, developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of UI Automation, API Testing and End-to-End Testing.
- Experience in Regression Testing and Cross-Browser Testing.
- Understanding of Data-Driven and Keyword-Driven Automation.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting and test failure analysis capabilities.

AI-Assisted Development

- Practical experience with Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants.
- Experience using AI tools for test script generation, code optimization and automation development.
- Ability to review and improve AI-generated code.
- Understanding of security, governance and quality considerations when using AI-assisted development tools.

Programming, DevOps & Quality Engineering

- Strong JavaScript and/or TypeScript programming skills.
- Experience with REST APIs and API automation testing.
- Experience integrating automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Working knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with defect and test management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, TestRail or ALM.
- Familiarity with test reporting and dashboarding tools.

- Shift-Left Testing: Understanding of early quality validation and developer-integrated testing.
- Performance & Security Testing: Awareness of relevant testing concepts and practices.
- Enterprise Quality Engineering: Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications and transformation initiatives.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for experienced Test Automation Specialists with strong Playwright development expertise and practical exposure to AI-assisted engineering.

The ideal candidate should have:

- 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
- Strong programming and automation skills using Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience developing robust, scalable and maintainable automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with UI, API, regression and end-to-end testing.
