Role Description The Telecaller role at Indian Overseas is a full-time, on-site position based in Chandigarh. The Telecaller is responsible for making outbound and receiving inbound calls to inform customers about products or services, answer queries, and provide clear information in a courteous and professional manner. Daily tasks include maintaining call logs, updating customer records, following call scripts where required, and escalating complex issues to the appropriate team members.

The Telecaller will work closely with supervisors and colleagues to meet call targets, support campaigns,



and ensure a consistent, positive customer experience. The role requires adherence to company policies, punctuality, and the ability to work effectively in a structured office environment.

Qualifications

- Solid verbal communication skills in English and local languages, with a clear and confident telephone manner.
- Ability to handle high call volumes, stay calm under pressure, and manage time effectively.
- Basic computer literacy, including experience with call management systems, CRM tools, or data entry software.
- Customer-focused mindset with active listening skills and the ability to build rapport over the phone.
- Prior experience in telecalling, customer service, or sales support is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in any discipline is an advantage.
- Willingness to work full time on-site in Chandigarh and follow established schedules and performance targets.
