Trumpf Metamation Private Limited develops CAD/CAM software solutions for the sheet-metal fabrication industry and is part of the TRUMPF Group.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Technical Writer who can transform complex software functionality into clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation while collaborating with software development teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and update user manuals, technical notes, FAQs, help files and reference guides.
- Prepare software installation guides, diagrams, visual aids, demos and video tutorials.
- Review and update documentation before software releases.
- Maintain documentation repositories, version control and documentation standards.
- Collaborate with software developers and project teams to understand product functionality.
- Incorporate feedback and ensure documentation accuracy and timely delivery.

Required Skills
- Excellent English writing, editing and proofreading skills.




- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Docs.
- Familiarity with Adobe tools and image/video editing software.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in simple language.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS or JavaScript is an advantage.
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is preferred.

Eligibility
- Freshers from the 2025 graduating batch may apply.
- Candidates with 2–3 years of relevant technical writing or documentation experience are also welcome.

Work Schedule
- Shift: General shift – 9 hours including a 1-hour break.
- Working Days: Monday to Friday.
- Additional Working Day: Last Saturday of every month.
- Work Mode: Work from office at Siruseri, SIPCOT IT Park, Chennai.
