Job Overview

ALIQAN Technologies is seeking an experienced Technical Support Engineer – Oracle Infrastructure to support and maintain enterprise infrastructure environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Linux/Unix administration, infrastructure monitoring, and production support, along with working knowledge of Oracle Exadata and exposure to Oracle Private Cloud Appliance (PCA).

Candidates with experience in Oracle Linux, Solaris Administration, and enterprise infrastructure troubleshooting are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle Exadata Infrastructure Support

- Monitor Oracle Exadata infrastructure and perform system health checks.
- Troubleshoot hardware, storage, and infrastructure-related issues.
- Assist with patching, maintenance, and incident analysis.

Linux Administration

- Manage Oracle Linux servers, user accounts, file systems, and configurations.
- Perform operating system patching, log analysis, and performance troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain basic shell scripts using Bash or KornShell.

Oracle Private Cloud Appliance (PCA)

- Monitor infrastructure health and troubleshoot compute and storage issues.
- Support virtual machine provisioning, maintenance, and upgrades.

Solaris Administration

- Perform Solaris system monitoring, user management, and file system administration.




- Work with ZFS, Solaris Zones, and Service Management Facility (SMF).
- Handle OS patching and system-level troubleshooting.

Production Support & Incident Management

- Provide L1/L2 production infrastructure support.
- Perform incident triage, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs and established support procedures.
- Follow ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Maintain technical documentation and support change management activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Linux and/or Solaris administration.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Exadata architecture and infrastructure monitoring.
- Exposure to Oracle Private Cloud Appliance (PCA).
- Understanding of server hardware, storage, networking, and virtualization.
- Experience in infrastructure monitoring, log analysis, and production troubleshooting.
- Basic scripting knowledge in Bash or KornShell.
- Familiarity with ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management.
- Experience working in enterprise production support environments.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of relevant experience in infrastructure support or Linux/Unix administration; candidates with strong technical skills may be considered flexibly.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Experience supporting mission-critical enterprise infrastructure.
- Ability to work in a 24×7 rotational shift environment.
- Willingness to work on-site from the Mumbai office.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
