Technical Product Manager- Doto Health

Location: Pune (Work From Office)

Type: Permanent

Experience: 3–5 years

About Doto Health:

Doto Health builds technology-driven solutions that make healthcare more accessible and improve health outcomes, with a strong focus on women's and newborn health through CareMother. We combine AI-powered monitoring, connected medical devices and software platforms to enable early detection, preventive care and seamless monitoring, from conception through newborn care, with emphasis on high-risk pregnancy, fetal health, labour and neonatal care.

We equip healthcare providers with tools that foster safer, more informed care, and we work hand in hand with clinicians, public health systems and communities on the ground to make sure what we build actually works in the real world.

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate builder to join us as a Product Manager. This is not a single-product, narrow-lane role. You will be flexible across the spectrum at Doto Health, moving between hardware and devices, AI/ML capabilities, software platforms and field programs wherever the business needs you most.

You will own problems end to end: getting out into the field to understand users, turning insights into clear product direction, working with engineering, design, data science and clinical teams to ship, and then going back to the field to validate. We are looking for someone who goes above and beyond, takes ownership without being asked, and is energised by building from 0 to 1.

Key Responsibilities:

- Discover and validate on the ground: Conduct user research, usability testing and design research in clinics, hospitals, and rural and semi-urban settings to understand user needs, workflows and pain points. Validate every major product decision in the field.
- Own the product lifecycle: Take products and features from concept validation through development, pilot, launch and scalable deployment, across hardware, software and AI-enabled solutions.
- Translate insight into product: Convert user insights, field learnings and technical requirements into clear product specifications, user stories and PRDs, and maintain prioritised roadmaps.
- Work closely with technical teams: Collaborate with engineering,

design, data science and clinical teams on brainstorming, technical architecture, feasibility assessment and project planning.
- Apply AI to your own work: Use LLMs and AI tools in day-to-day product work, such as research synthesis, spec writing, data analysis, prototyping and workflow automation, and help the team do the same.
- Manage external stakeholders: Build and maintain relationships with clinicians, hospitals, government and public health departments, NGOs, channel partners and vendors to gather requirements, align on needs and drive adoption.
- Research the market: Carry out market research and competitive analysis to find opportunities, validate product-market fit and inform strategy.
- Be data-informed: Define and monitor KPIs for product performance, user adoption and clinical impact. Analyse usage data, system logs, surveys and field feedback to identify trends and guide decisions.
- Support implementation in the field: Travel to field locations to coordinate pilots and rollouts, observe real-world usage, support user training and troubleshoot issues.
- Be flexible across the portfolio: Pick up different products, initiatives and cross-functional problems as priorities evolve at Doto Health.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Public Health, Health Informatics or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in product management, preferably in health-tech, digital health, medical devices or hardware-enabled products.
- Demonstrated experience taking a product or major feature from idea to launch, with a clear understanding of the end-to-end product development process.
- Technical fluency: able to engage meaningfully with hardware, firmware, AI/ML components, data pipelines and system integration,

and to hold your own in architecture and feasibility discussions. You do not need to be a software developer.
- Hands-on experience using applied AI (LLMs and AI tools) to get work done faster and better.
- Strong user research, design research and market research skills, with the ability to synthesise insights into compelling product requirements.
- Proven ability to manage external stakeholders, including clinicians, partners, vendors and, ideally, government or public health bodies.
- Willingness and comfort to travel frequently to the field for validation, pilots and training, including rural and semi-urban locations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently with a high degree of ownership.
- Based in, or willing to relocate to, Pune, and comfortable working from office.

Positive to Have:

- Experience in medical technology or medical devices, such as ultrasound, portable diagnostic devices or connected hardware (a strong bonus).
- Familiarity with healthcare delivery systems in India, especially public health ecosystems.
- Proficiency in Hindi for effective field engagement.
- Working knowledge of data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL or Python.
- Understanding of medical device regulatory and quality considerations.

What are we looking for

- A builder who would rather ship and learn than plan endlessly.
- Passionate about using technology to solve real health challenges in India.
- Someone who goes above and beyond, and sees gaps as opportunities to step in.
- Curious and adaptable, comfortable switching context across products and problem types.
- Happiest in the field with users, not only behind a desk.

What we offer:

- The chance to drive high-impact health initiatives with tangible societal benefit.
- Work at the intersection of hardware, AI and real-world healthcare.
- Exposure across the full spectrum of Doto Health's products and programs.
- Collaboration with researchers, engineers, clinicians and public health experts.
- Deep, hands-on experience of India's ground-level health delivery systems.
- Competitive compensation, meaningful work, and the opportunity to build products that truly save lives.
