Technical Lead / Data Architect Azure | 8+ Years | Bangalore

Hiring an experienced Technical Lead / Data Architect to drive end-to-end technical architecture and delivery of cloud and data engineering projects. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with strong expertise in Azure, Azure Databricks, Python, Data Engineering, Solution Architecture, and technical leadership.

Responsibilities:

1. Own end-to-end technical architecture and delivery of cloud and data engineering projects.
2. Design scalable Azure and Databricks-based data platforms, pipelines, and solutions.
3. Develop backend services, REST APIs, and microservices using Python and related technologies.
4. Lead and mentor cross-functional teams across development, data engineering, QA, and DevOps.
5. Manage DevOps, deployment, and release processes, including Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
6. Conduct architecture reviews and establish coding, testing, security, and deployment best practices.
7. Translate business requirements into technical solutions, architecture diagrams, and implementation plans.
8. Manage client and stakeholder discussions, technical decisions, project risks, and delivery challenges.

Requirements:

1. 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering or Data Engineering, with significant technical leadership exposure.
2. Robust hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure Databricks.
3.



Expertise in Data Engineering, ETL/ELT, SQL, Spark/PySpark, and Data Modelling.
4. Excellent Python programming skills and experience building REST APIs, microservices, and backend applications.
5. Understanding of frontend development and application architecture using React, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar technologies.
6. Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Git, DevOps, cloud deployment, monitoring, and production support.
7. Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, and scalable applications.
8. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
9. Azure certifications, Terraform/IaC, Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions, event-driven architectures, and API gateways will be an advantage.
