HIRING FOR OUR GLOBAL CLIENT

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

- Own your team's service(s) end-to-end. Architecture, build, deployment, monitoring and day-to-day operational health, within company's established engineering standards
- Make technical decisions within your domain, acting as the first line of technical judgement before anything reaches wider architecture review
- Keep existing functionality stable while delivering new work in parallel
- Make sure your team produces and keeps the evidence needed for PCI DSS and other compliance audits (change records, test evidence, sign-offs) as a standard part of delivery
- Stay hands-on, personally contributing to delivery of key initiatives
- Ensure that AI is used throughout the development process to enhance productivity without sacrificing quality
- Act as direct line manager to the engineers in your team, including regular 1:1s, performance management, day-to-day coaching and career development
- Support your products along with your team, ensuring that there is proper cover out of hours
- Work directly with the UK-based Product Manager to turn roadmap and requirements into a workable technical plan, and take charge of estimation and planning activities to build realistic plans
- Produce technical designs for your team's work, present them to the Senior Engineering Manager for sign-off,



and see them through to delivery as priorities or real-world issues change
- Proactively flag technical risks and blockers to the Senior Engineering Manager before they become critical

WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU:
- Deep, hands-on experience with CCaaS platforms in production, from an application/API integration perspective
- Have led or delivered integrations between a CCaaS/contact-centre platform and external systems
- Experience directly line managing engineers (1:1s, performance feedback, coaching and career development), or clear aptitude for it
- Hands-on senior-level engineering background before or alongside this role
- Solid C#/.NET experience in a production environment
- Hands-on experience with serverless AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB, Step Functions, etc.)
- Experience owning a service end-to-end in production, not just contributing to one
- Experience working in a fast-paced, regulated environment (PCI DSS, SOC 2, financial services or similar)
- Excellent written and verbal English, with a track record of working closely with UK/US teams across time zones
- Experience producing and presenting technical designs to senior engineering stakeholders
- Some prior team lead or mentoring experience, formal or informal
- Experience using AI-assisted workflows to improve engineering quality and productivity, and reduce delivery risk
