The Role

We are looking for a driven and resourceful Talent Sourcing Recruiter to help us find and pipeline exceptional candidates across our engineering, operations, and corporate functions. This is a high-impact, fully remote position based in India you will work closely with our HR Manager and founding team to build our talent pipeline and support our hiring roadmap across both India and the USA.

This is an exciting opportunity to be an early member of the people team and directly shape how Cogniify grows.

Note working hours 8:00AM to 5:00PM PST.

Key Responsibilities

- Source candidates: Use LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Boolean search, and other sourcing channels to identify talent for US technical recruiting and business roles, including engineering, IT, data, operations, and corporate positions. Build talent pipelines ahead of hiring needs.
- Screen and engage candidates: Conduct initial phone screens to understand candidates’ experience, career goals, compensation expectations, and US work authorization. Share clear, useful candidate summaries with hiring managers.
- Coordinate interviews: Schedule interviews across US time zones and with our India team. Keep candidates informed throughout the process and provide a respectful, responsive candidate experience.
- Maintain recruiting data: Keep candidate records and hiring stages updated in the applicant tracking system (ATS), and share concise weekly sourcing and pipeline updates with the HR Manager.
- Partner with hiring managers: Clarify role requirements and help create job descriptions, sourcing plans, and personalized outreach messages that connect with relevant candidates.

Qualifications

- Have 2–4 years of US recruiting or talent sourcing experience, ideally supporting technical, IT,



engineering, data, or other technology-related roles. Experience in a technology company or staffing agency is welcome.
- Have sourced or recruited for engineering, software, IT, data, or other technical roles, and be comfortable learning technical job requirements.
- Understand US hiring basics, including equal employment chance (EEO), work authorization categories (such as H-1B, OPT/CPT, Green Card, and TN), and common engagement types such as W-2, 1099, and C2C.
- Have hands-on experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS), such as Greenhouse or a similar platform, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Communicate clearly with candidates, write friendly and relevant outreach messages, and maintain accurate recruiting records.
